The wait is over...

Finally, after 2.5 long years, Europe gets to welcome our Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar in person.

In an effort to ensure that everyone has an opportunity to plan in advance we’ve created this page so that you can see where Gurudev will be on each day of His European tour, and so that you can find the best place/s to meet with Him.

Keep an eye on this page, and, as and when things get confirmed we will update it below.
We are delighted to have Gurudev back in Europe again for an exciting roster of winter programmes.

His time in Germany will include three Silence Programs and New Year Celebrations/Meditation at our Bad Antogast home in the Black Forest, Germany.

Then, moving to Switzerland, we will get a chance to bring our friends, families and colleagues to Interlaken for Sanyam, Unveiling Infinity - Vigyan Bhairav 3, which will be taking place in Europe for the first time, ending with a Meditation and Breath Workshop all in Gurudev’s presence. The Intuition Process course will also be offered.

Sanyam Course, Interlaken, 4 Jan – 8 Jan

Sañyam is the Sanskrit term that collectively describes the final three of the eight limbs of yoga as described by Patanjali in The Yoga Sutras, it means a combined simultaneous practice of Dhāraṇā (concentration), Dhyāna (meditation) & Samādhi (union). It describes progressively deeper states of absorption in meditation. Sañyam works at the sensory, mental and spiritual levels.

Unveiling Infinity - Vigyan Bhairav 3, Interlaken 5 Jan - 7 Jan

Vigyan refers to science or higher knowledge, and Bhairav is a connection with the universal spirit, where knowledge is received without obstruction. Gurudev will help you tap into the essence of Vigyan Bhairav and experience the unknown meditative space.Hidden within the Vigyan Bhairav are 112 techniques to experience infinity within oneself.

This program will be taking place in Europe for the first time.

No prerequisites required: you do not need to have attended any program with the Art of Living to attend nor have any prior meditation experience.

30 Days Sadhana Intensive

30 days to shine and smile, with the Meditation and Patanjali Yoga Sutras Challenge

The 30-day Sadhana Intensive is a course to prepare yourself for the Sanyam program in Interlaken in January and a wonderful opportunity to spend your December in Sadhana and deep Wisdom, in perfect preparation for 2023, even if you are not doing the Sanyam program.

The online Sadhana Intensive course will be guided by a senior Art of Living teacher each evening from 1 - 30 December at 7:45pm - 8:30pm

Each session will consist of Meditation, Wisdom (with discussion) and a Patanjali Yoga Sutra discourse video by Gurudev.

Dive deep into the profound knowledge of the Patanjali Yoga Sutras coupled with deep meditations and be in the company of truth and upliftment for 30 days straight - there really is no better way to start your 2023.

Does the Silence Course price include meals?

The Silence Program fee includes 8 meals starting with dinner on the 13th April and ending with lunch on the 17th April (8 meals in total). The price does not include accommodation and breakfast.

Are there facilities to look after my child/ren while I am on the Silence Program course?

Evening satsangs between 13-17 will only be available for Silence Program participants.

There are no discounts for teachers for online or offline Silence Program.

Each morning before you enter the hall you would need to take a Covid self-test (please bring self tests with you).

Where is Gurudev staying and where can I stay?

Gurudev will be staying at the Victoria Jungfrau in Interlaken, which is a 5 mins walk to the venue. Other hotels close by can be found at the following links Deutsch English or here.

Are their childcare facilities at the venue?

Price will be created after and it will be based on number of registered children, as we will charge only what is needed for covering the hall rent.

There is parking area on the right of the venue entrance. Other than that there is city parking place in Neugasse 10, 3800 Interlaken (very close to the venue)

Do I need to bring a Yoga mat?

For Sanyam: Please bring your own yoga mat or blanket. The main hall has a wooden floor so you may wish to keep your mat with you for the sessions in the hall so you are comfortable.

What entrance do I use to get into the venue?

The entrance to get into the venue is Eingang Nord (Entrance Nord). Please follow the signs that you will see throughout the venue

Will there be food options available for Sanyam/VB participants?

For VB: There will be dedicated food truck at the venue that will serve Indian vegetarian meals, price is 15 CHF (15 Euro) per plate. You can also register for a food that is provided for Sanyam (see below).

The course venue has strict no food and drink policy in the course hall. Food will be provided in a separate place.

Are there any Covid Guidelines for the Interlaken event?

Switzerland has removed all Covid restrictions.
Wearing masks and self-testing is optional.
If you feel unwell or feel you need more space during the indoor events, there will be space available on the balcony.
